An unannounced monitoring inspection was completed today. The physical plant, 4 staff files, 5 children's files, staff training, child nutrition, children's activities, medications, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected between 9:20-10:20am. There were 7 children under the supervision of 2 staff. During the inspection, the children were observed enjoying free play, practicing writing their names and interacting with the staff. Later today, the children will be working on Valentine's Day crafts and decorations. Each day the children are in care, they bring their lunches from home. The interactions between the children and staff were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. Currently, all staff certified in MAT (medication administration training).
