An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 12:30pm-2:45pm. There were 109 children directly supervised by 16 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed napping, sitting quietly reading a book, cleaning up their pillows and blankets and putting away nap mats. Children were observed independently using the potty and washing hands. Once completed the children, sat down for snack. Snack today was crackers and carrots. There was a supply of materials for the children. Staff interactions with children were observed and deemed to be positive. Staff spoke to children in a calm voice.
