The following inspection took place between the hours of 2 pm through 4 pm. Today, I met with the Staff of the County After-School Activities (CASA) program located on site at Forest Grove Elementary school in Sterling, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 30 children observed with 2 staff; good ratio for this one group. A total of 5 children?s files were reviewed. Staff files were reviewed on an earlier basis. The children were engaged in the following: art (sewing heart shape pillows for Valentine's Day), toy play, large motor skilled activities outside on the playground, bathroom breaks, hand washing, snack, home work time, and other organized activities. If you should have any future questions, please call or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you.
