A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on February 13, 2020 from approximately 12:20 PM to 3:00 PM to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The following staff-to-child ratios were observed in the classrooms: Infants 2:5, Older Infants 1:4, Toddlers1:4, 2 year olds 2:11, 3 year olds 1:8, and 4 year olds 2:17. The staff were observed to be engaged with the children in age appropriate activities and to be meeting the needs of the children in care. Most but not all areas of the facility were inspected. The required postings were observed in the facility. The first aid kit and non-medical emergency supplies were inspected and found complete. Emergency response drills and the Emergency Preparedness plan were current. Medications and authorizations were reviewed. There were staff present who are certified in medication administration, daily health observation, First Aid, and CPR. 6 children's records, 6 staff records, and 2 agent records were reviewed. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. If you have any questions about this inspection, please contact the licensing inspector at (804) 662-9092.

In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information.
