Technical Assistance:
-Discussed rug types for classroom use and monitoring outdoor equipment with the Director.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:55am-1:25pm. There were 25 children in the direct supervision of 7 staff. A sample size of 4 children's records, 3 staff records, 2 emergency medications, evacuation drills, the playground, and the physical plant were reviewed. The children were observed putting together puzzles, drawing pictures, looking at books, being held and fed bottles, washing hands, eating lunch (chicken, corn, mashed potatoes, blueberries, and milk), toileting, and taking a nap. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-270-A
Description: Based on observation, areas and equipment of the center were not maintained in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
Evidence:
1. In the Preschool/Pre-K classroom, there were 5 small areas with peeling grey paint located under the windows.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection- it was covered up with contact paper until it can be painted.
