Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 9:15am through 11:30pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 27 children in care with five staff. Children present ranged in age from two to five years old. Children were observed in teacher and self-directed activities.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-510-A Description: Based on observation and interview the vendor failed to ensure that children's information shall be treated confidentially.
Evidence:
1 - The allergy information of children in care in the two year old room was posted/displayed on the outside door of a cabinet in the classroom.
a. Anyone entering the room would be able to read the listing.
2 - Staff present in the classroom confirmed that list was posted in the classroom.
