A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today from 4:00pm-6:10pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 40 children were present with 5 caregivers. The children were engaged in the following: reading books, doing homework, washing hands, eating snack which consisted of milk and a fresh apple, and engaging in gross motor exercise playing in the gym. Programming, the physical plant, menus, emergency procedures, 12 medications, allergy care plans, and 6 children's records and 5 staff records were reviewed.
A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Evidence: Staff #5 last completed CPR and First Aid Training on 1/10/2018 and the certification is expired.Plan of Correction: I will schedule this staff for CPR and First Aid Training.
