An unannounced focused monitoring inspection was conducted today with the director, who was present with 11 staff and 65 children. Many of the standards were not inspected today. The older infants were at the feeding table eating while the preschoolers were either eating lunch or on their cots for nap time. Four toddlers were visiting the 2 year old classroom as they are in the process of being transitioned to this room in the next two weeks.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-570-A Description: Based on observation, it was determined that two infants in the Infant B room were placed in the seats at the feeding table with unfastened protective belts.
Evidence:
The Licensing Inspector observed two infants sitting in the feeding table seats with the safety protective belts unfastened.Plan of Correction: We will retrain staff on the importance of making sure all infants are fastened into these seats.
