Comments:
Thank you for your assistance during this unannounced monitoring inspection. This on-site visit was conducted on January 28, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. through 4:30 p.m. There were sixty-four children in the care of seven staff. Three staff records were reviewed and updated. Four children's records were reviewed and updated. Areas of non-compliance may be found on the violation notice.

Areas observed, arrival, outside play, hand washing /bathroom procedures and snack. Interactions between the children and staff were observed as appropriate and the children seemed comfortable with their daily routine and schedule.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-C
Description: Based on record review the center failed to obtain an updated tuberculosis screening for one employee.

Evidence:1. Three staff records were reviewed. 2. Staff #1 had not obtained an updated tuberculosis screening. Last documented screening was dated 06/02/2015. 3. Staff confirmed an updated tuberculosis screening had not been obtained.

Plan of Correction: The staff member will obtain an updated tuberculosis screening. Documentation will be sent to the licensing inspector.
