Comments:
The following inspection took place between the hours of 8 am through 12 pm. Today, I met with the Staff of the Lake Anne Nursery Kindergarten (LANK) located in Reston, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced renewal inspection there were a total of 65 children observed with 11 classroom staff; good ratios in all 5 areas. A total of 10 children?s files, 6 Board Officers files, and 9 staff files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: drop off, center activities within their classroom, toy play, blocks, legos, games, painting, learning, clean-up, story time, lunch, pick-up, and other organized activities. If you should have any future questions, please call or send an e-mail to charles.perkins@dss.virginia.gov. Thank you.
