An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:00 am - 12:15 pm. There were 16 children directly supervised by 3 staff. The physical plant, 3 staff records, 5 children?s records, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. No medications were present for review during today's inspection. Children were observed participating in playing outside, transitioning indoors, washing hands, and eating both lunch brought from home and participating in a pizza party. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for the children in care. The center was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Evidence:
Child 5's record did not contain the name, address, and phone number for one of the two required emergency contacts.Plan of Correction: I will ask the parents to complete the missing information.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-240-C Description: Based on record review, two of the three staff records reviewed did not have at least sixteen hours of annual training documented for 2019.
Evidence:
Staff 2 and Staff 3 records did not contain documentation of annual training completed in 2019.Plan of Correction: We will place the staff members on a training schedule.
