Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:00 am-10:00 am. There were a total of 59 children with 3 staff members present. Children were observed arriving to the program, hand washing, snack time, engaged in group activities board games, cards and legos. A selection of staff training's, children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-350-E-5
Description: Based on observation, the program is not following the required ratios of one staff for every 18 children for children eligibility to attend public school through eight years old.
Evidence: At 9:05 am there are 3 staff with 57 children, with a mixture of 6 years though 12 years of age.
At 9:30 am there are 3 staff with 59 children, staff #4 arrived at 9:35 am.

Plan of Correction: Talk with the SACC office about adjusting staff hours for the next teacher work day.
