Discussed diapering procedures with the facility.

Comments:
An unannounced complaint investigation was initiated in the facility on March 3, 2020, regarding special care provision and emergency . Interview with staff members was conducted . Based on a interviews during investigation, a preponderance of evidence does support the allegation, therefore the complaint is determined VALID.

Complaint related: No
Description: Based on staff interviews, the licensee did not ensure when a child's clothing or diaper becomes wet or soiled, the child would be cleaned and changed immediately.

Evidence: Staff #1 stated that when arrived from break child #1's clothing was wet from urine from approximately 2:40 pm - 3:45 pm when child was picked up. Staff #1 stated Assistant Director was contacted to call parent because there was no clothing to change the child into.

Plan of Correction: All parents will be reminded of the policy that two pairs of clothing need to be provided. If not provided care will be denied. Parent's will be reminded that emergency contact information needs to be update and if immediate family is unable to be reached and emergency contact will be called.

A training with staff about all diapering procedures.
Will retrain on procedures if a child does not have clothing and safety procedures of classroom.
