Comments:
The licensing inspector initiated an Unannounced Complaint Inspection in the center on February 7, 2020 in response to a complaint received by the licensing office regarding Physical Plant and Special Care Provisions/Emergencies. Interviewed staff members and observations were conducted. Based on information gathered during the investigation, there was not a preponderance of evidence that supports the allegation of Special Care Provisions/Emergencies, however there was a preponderance of evidence to support the allegation regarding Physical Plant therefore the complaint is determined to be Valid. Areas of non-compliance are noted in the Violation Notice. The results of the inspection were reviewed with the the Center Director .

Description: Based on observation and staff interview, the licensee did not ensure cleaning and sanitizing materials were located above food, food equipment, utensils or single-service articles and shall be stored in areas physically separate from food.

Evidence: In the infant room's locked closet there was bleach and water and soap and water hanging on a open cabinet that was above the baby food, formula, apple sauce packets and puffs.

Plan of Correction: The cleaning and sanitizing was removed from the location when it was brought to our attention.
