An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:35am to 11:00am with the Lead Teacher and Assistant Teacher. There were 16 children in care, all were four-years-old, supervised by two staff. The children were observed listening to the Teacher read "Stone Soup" and then making their own stone soup, having circle time, playing in centers, and doing a stone soup art project. Four children?s records, two staff records, and the board officer's records were reviewed and were in compliance. The Center has two staff with current certification in CPR, First Aid, and Daily Health Observation Training. One medication and authorization form were reviewed and the center has two staff current in Medication Administration Training (MAT). The attendance and emergency drill log were reviewed and were in compliance. The first aid kit was observed and was in compliance. The most recent Fire Inspection on file was dated 8/13/19 and the most recent Health Inspection on file was dated 3/28/19. Meals are brought from home and snack today will be the stone soup the children made.
