Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 to determine the center's compliance with licensing standards. The inspector arrived at 10:15 AM and concluded the inspection at 12:20 PM. The census for today's inspection consisted of 16 children. During the inspection, children were dressing up in the dramatic play area, experimenting with water, food coloring, test tubes and eye droppers, painting at the art easel, building with wooden blocks, washing hands, eating lunch and listening to a story. The classrooms are decorated with children?s art work and equipped with age and stage appropriate materials. Children's equipment, learning materials, indoor space, restrooms, first aid kit and the nonmedical emergency supplies were reviewed. The provider stated that medication is not administered at this time. Five children's records and three staff records, annual fire and health inspections, fire drill, and shelter in place drill logs, daily attendance, annual staff training hours and all required postings were reviewed.

A member of management was available for the inspection and was present at the exit interview at which time inspection findings were reviewed and an Acknowledgement of Inspection form was signed and left with the licensee. Violations were cited and can be found in the violation notice.

Please complete the ?plan of correction? and ?date to be corrected? for each violation listed on the violation notice and return it to me within 5 business days from receipt. Your plan of correction should contain: 1) steps to correct the noncompliance with the standard(s); 2) measures to prevent the noncompliance from occurring again; and 3) person(s) responsible for implementing each step and/or monitoring any preventative measures.
