This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A Renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on 4/15/2020. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 9 children present and 3 staff. The inspector emailed the director/provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 3 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on child record review, 3 out of 5 children's records did not contain all required documentation.
Evidence: Child #1, 2 and 3's records did not include documentation that proof of identity of each child was reviewed.Plan of Correction: All 3 of these children were enrolled on an emergency basis. Some documentation was not available. Center is aware and plans are in place to obtain this information by next week.
