Technical Assistance:
1. Furniture/electronics should be stored safely, and rugs should be smooth to the floor so that these things are not a hazard to the children. 2. Recommended the vendor call the leasing office to request the air conditioner be repaired as the home is hot and stuffy today, despite the unit running continuously. 3. Encouraged vendor to not allow children to walk around with pants unzipped/unfastened. 4. Reviewed/trained vendor on new subsidy requirements. 5. Forms provided: attendance, emergency preparedness plan, and proof of identity.

Comments:
1:50-3:40pm Annual subsidy inspection completed. Observed 2 children in care + 2 children that live in the home = 6 points with the vendor. An adult that lives in the home was also present. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were observed arriving to the home from summer school, washing hands, eating watermelon, and playing with toys. The indoor air temperature was 84.1 degrees today. The vendor is currently certified in CPR/First Aid. Recordkeeping non-compliance found.

Description: Based on records reviewed, it was determined that a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival + departure of each child in care as it occurs. Evidence: The record did not document when Child #3 leaves and returns from school daily.

Plan of Correction: The vendor said she will write this everyday.
