The RM2 form was used during today's inspection to better assist with the renewal process.
A discussion of hand washing both before and after snack was discussed. As well as using water/bleach solution for sanitizing tables. Other products may also be used provided that they are approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a sanitizing solution.
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on May 6, 2020. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children and no staff other staff present due to the center's closure as related to the Loudoun County Public School schedule. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed (2) children?s records and (2) staff records and (3) board officer's records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
