Comments:
The following inspection took place between the hours of 2 pm through 6 pm on 03/09/2020, and between the hours of 3 pm through 5 pm on 03/12/2020. I met with the Staff of the County After-School Activities (CASA) program held on site at Selden's Corner Elementary school located in the town of Leesburg, Virginia. At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 29 children observed with 2 staff; good ratio for this one group of mixed school-age children. A total of 5 children?s were reviewed. Staff files will be reviewed on a later date. The children were engaged in the following: art, games, a science project, reading, bathroom breaks, hand washing, snack, homework time, large motor skilled activities outside on playground, and other organized activities. If you should have any future questions, please call or send an e-mail to charles.perkins@dss.virginia.gov. Thank you.

Charlie Perkins,
Licensing Inspector
