*The metal stationary car on the playground has an area of paint and wood that is in need of repair before a safety hazard becomes apparent.
- Comments:

An unannounced renewal inspection was initiated on 03/13/2020 at the facility. There were no children in care due to a teacher in-service training day. The inspector reviewed ten children's records, written policies and procedures, the physical plant and the outdoor play area. The facility closed on 03/16/2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
This inspection was completed by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
The renewal inspection was concluded on 05/07/2020. The Licensing Manager was contacted by telephone to complete the inspection. The program remains closed.
The inspector emailed the Licensing Manager a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed six staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guide for Child Care Programs.
