Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 05/29/2020 to review supplemental health and safety requirements.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 05/28/2020 and concluded on 05/29/2020. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 0 children present and 0 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 0 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete, staff files will be reviewed during the semi-annual staff file review.

The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.

The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
