Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

An initial inspection was initiated on June 8, 2020 and concluded on June 8, 2020. The director was contacted by video conferencing and telephone to initiate the inspection. There were no children in care and not all standards could be reviewed. The inspector, director and staff did a walkthrough of the facility via video conferencing. The capacity was determined to be 20 children as designated by the building official; 10 children in the upstairs and 10 children in the downstairs care areas.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
