An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 9:30 AM and ending at 12:30 PM. There were 82 children in care during the inspection. The children's ages ranged from 5 months through 5 years old. The children were observed cleaning up and washing hands before lunch. The children were observed eating lunch which consisted of chicken nuggets, green beans, apple sauce, and milk. Five staff records and 7 children's records were reviewed and in compliance. The outdoor play area was not inspected due to inclement weather. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 3/9/20. The most recent shelter-in place drill was documented as 1/15/20. The most recent fire inspection was dated 9/25/19. The most recent health inspection was dated 9/12/19.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-290-3 Description: Based on observation, not all of the electrical outlets had protective covers. Evidence: In the school age classroom, there were two electrical outlets that did not have protective covers on them. Plan of Correction: The staff placed protective covers in the outlets during the inspection.
