This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An announced non-mandated modification inspection was conducted on August 6, 2020. The director was contacted by face time to initiate the inspection. A virtual inspection was completed. The licensing inspector toured the new space, bathrooms, and the emergency evacuation route. Items reviewed during the inspection were first aid kit, non-emergency supplies, daily schedule, and emergency evacuation maps.
The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. A recommendation for an increase in capacity from 25 to 50 and lowering the age range to 18 months-12 years 11 months will be submitted for approval.
