An initial inspection was conducted virtually August 13 2020 between 10:00am and 11:30am. There are currently no children in care. A tour of the facility was done via zoom. Staffing records were reviewed. Areas of non compliance are listed on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-430-K Description: Based on observation and interview, the center did not provide an individual place for each child's personal belongings.
Evidence: The center director stated that individual storage areas will be purchasedPlan of Correction: We already buy the storage and install in each room.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-540-A Description: Based on observation and interview, the center did not have a first aid kit available for review.
Evidence: The director stated that the first aid kit was purchased, but not available in the center.Plan of Correction: The first aid kits are already available in the center.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-A Description: Based on observation and interview, the center did not have an emergency preparedness plan that addressees staff responsibility and facility readiness with respect to emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place.
Evidence: The center director stated that the Fire Marshall will be reviewing their plan at the end of August.Plan of Correction: We already scheduled a visit of fire Marshall inspection on Aug 26, 2020.
