Technical Assistance: The owner has been informed that if and when playground equipment with fall zones is installed on the playground, documentation must be submitted to the Licensing Inspector to show that the resilient surfacing complies with minimum safety standards when tested in accordance with the procedures described in the American Society for Testing and Materials.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An announced non-mandated monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 8/18/20. The purpose of this inspection was to inspect the playground installed at the center. A virtual walk through was completed. The playground is fenced in with rubber tiles surfacing. No equipment with fall zones has been installed. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.
