The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
- Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A Renewal inspection was initiated on 8/25/20 and concluded on 8/27/20. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were (no) children present and (1) staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed (2) children?s records and (2) staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-D-1-A Description: Based on review of the Center's renewal application, two individuals listed do not have all required background searches.
Evidence: Individual #1 and #2 are listed on the renewal application as board officers. Results of a Virginia Central Registry search were not obtained within 30 days of assuming these positions.Plan of Correction: Money order obtained and mailed with Central Registry searches. Results will be forwarded to Licensing Inspector for review.
Standard #: 63.2(17)-1721.1-B-3 Description: Based on review of the Center's renewal application, two individuals listed as agents do not have all required background searches.
Evidence: Individuals #1 and #2 are listed on the renewal application as board officers and have resided out of the state of Virginia during the past five years. Results of an Out of State Central Registry search were not obtained.Plan of Correction: All paperwork related to background searches are in process and results will be forwarded to Licensing Inspector for review.
