This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated on 8/20/2020, and concluded on 8/26/2020 approximately from 1:35 pm to 2:50 pm. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There was 48 child supervised by 9 direct care staff. The inspector emailed the director/ provider a list of items required to complete the inspection.
The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children records, evacuation drills were inspected. Children were observed engaging in individual activities and napping. No violation were observed during the inspection.
