Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-E Description: Based on review of medications, the center failed to ensure that all medication was labeled with the dosage amount.
Evidence:
1. Child 2M had an emergency medication at the center that was not labeled with the dosage amount.
2. Staff verified that the emergency medication was not labeled with the dosage amount.Plan of Correction: Staff immediately labeled the medication with the dosage amount. In the future staff will review all medication being accepted into the center to make sure it is labeled with all required information.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-570-E Description: Based on observation, the center failed to ensure that all prepared infant formulas was dated.
Evidence:
1. In Classroom #1 there were two prepared infant bottle in the refrigerator that were not dated.
2. In Classroom #2 there was one prepared infant bottle in the refrigerator that was not dates
3. Staff verified that the infant bottles were not labeled with a date.Plan of Correction: Staff immediately dated the bottles. In the future staff will create pre-dated sticker labels so when the children are dropped off in the morning they can place the label on the bottle before placing it in the refrigerator.
