Technical Assistance:
1. Discussed handwashing/drying requirements. 2. Enrollment paperwork requirements reviewed. 3. Forms provided: attendance, emergency plan, all child enrollment forms.

Comments:
11:10am-12:50pm Announced initial subsidy inspection completed with vendor. There are currently no children enrolled. An adult family member assisted with translation between the inspector and vendor today. The home was found to be clean and safeguarded appropriately. A few toys were observed in the hall closet. The vendor stated that she would buy more supplies/equipment when children enroll, such as: diaper changing pad, sleep mats, high chair, cribs, and age appropriate toys. There is an outdoor playground within walking distance. No medications will be given to children, and no transportation provided. The vendor is currently certified in First Aid/CPR.

Description: Based on observations made, it was determined that there were no batteries for the flashlight.

Plan of Correction: Batteries will be purchased and put in emergency supply box.

Description: Based on observations made, it was determined that there were no batteries for the emergency radio.

Plan of Correction: Batteries will be purchased and put in emergency supply box.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-400-A
Description: Based on records reviewed, it was determined that there is not a written emergency preparedness plan. Evidence: The vendor showed the inspector the evacuation map.

Plan of Correction: The inspector provided the emergency plan template forms, and the plan was written during the inspection today.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-400-C
Description: Based on observations made, it was determined that the regional poison control number was not posted in the home.

Plan of Correction: The inspector gave the vendor poison control stickers.
