This initial inspection was conducted virtually by licensing staff, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An announced initial inspection was initiated on September 29, 2020 and concluded on October 9, 2020. The facility and all areas for childcare were toured virtually. Some items reviewed during the inspection included: required posted information, parent pick-up procedures, emergency maps and procedures, first -aid kit, emergency supplies, one agent background checks, three staff records, and the emergency plan.
A recommendation will be made for an initial six-month conditional Child Day Center license with a capacity of 106 children and an age range of sixteen months through twelve years 11 months. There were no violations noted during the inspection.
