This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated on 09/30/2020 and concluded on 10/05/2020. The director was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection. There were no children present and no staff present as services are being provided virtually and by home visits held outside. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 2 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete. The information gathering during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. The licensing inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with the applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-40-C-1-A Description: Based on review of the application and the board officer's records, the center failed to ensure that all repeat CPS checks were obtained within the five year time frame.
Evidence:
1. The board officer #3 most recent CPS check was completed on 09/04/2015. The CPS check need to be obtained every 5 years.Plan of Correction: The administration will have the baord officer to complete a new CPS check ASAP.
