When the out of state background check is received it will be sent to the inspector.
- Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A renewal inspection was initiated on November 16, 2020 and concluded on November 17, 2020. The director was contacted to initiate the inspection. There were 27 children present and 6 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 3 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

Standard #: 63.2(17)-1720.1-B-3 Description: Based on review of staff records, one record does not contain the required documentation.
Evidence:
Staff #1 does not have documentation of an out of state central registry within 45 days of first day of employment.Plan of Correction: I went through the records yesterday and mailed in the out of state. I will send you documentation of the background check when it is received.
