Center management received technical assistance regarding maintaining staffing consistency within classrooms.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A complaint inspection was initiated on 11/18/20 and concluded on 12/4/20. A complaint was received by the department regarding allegations in the areas of Staffing and Supervision, and Special Care Provisions and Emergencies. The director was contacted by telephone to conduct the investigation. 4 staff were interviewed. Attendance records, and an accident report related to a child's minor injury was reviewed. The inspector emailed the director list of documentation required to complete the investigation. The evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegations of non-compliance with standards or law.
