Technical Assistance:
An out of state search of the sex offender registry must be completed for all staff/household residents (Family Day Homes) who have resided outside of the state of Virginia within the past 5 years. In addition, an out of state criminal history record search must be completed for staff/household residents who have resided in any non-NFF states within the past 5 years.

Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 12/3/2020 and concluded on 12/4/2020. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 18 children present and 6 staff. The inspector emailed the director a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed 2 children?s records and 2 staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.

The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued.

The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
