On 11/23/2020 a virtual licensing monitoring inspection was conducted. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic the inspector was not on site. This inspection was conducted via mobile video application, email and phone correspondence. During this inspection there were 11 children observed - supervised by 4 staff. Children were observed playing freely and completing Thanksgiving books . Emergency supplies, procedures and drills were reviewed. The physical plant and facilities were inspected via video mobile application. In addition, 3 Child and 3 staff member records were reviewed. According to director there was no medication on site. Violations are indicated on the violation notice.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on review of child records, Allergies and intolerance to food, medication, or any other substances, and actions to take in an emergency situation was not maintained.
Evidence: During inspection Child 1 had "food allergies" written on their form and did not have the specific allergen and action to be taken in an emergency as requiredPlan of Correction: Their allergen is known to the cooking and classroom staff . We have made sure to avoid contact and will update the record.
