This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A modification inspection was initiated on January 13, 2020 and concluded on January 19, 2021. The director was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection in response to license modification request for a change of location. There were no children present and 1 staff.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliances with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-540-C Description: Based on a review of the first aid kit and interview, the center did not ensure the first aid kit contained all the required items.
Evidence:
1. The first aid kit did not contain a thermometer and the first aid instructional manual.
2. The director was unable to locate the thermometer and the first aid instructional manual for the first aid kit.Plan of Correction: Will correct within the hour. Thermometers are at the programs office.
