1. Reviewed/trained vendor on new subsidy requirements.

12:20-1:15pm Annual unannounced subsidy inspection conducted. Observed 1 child in care + 1 child that lives with the home = 5 points with the vendor. Ratios and supervision were in compliance. Children were watching a child appropriate cartoon on TV, playing with blocks, and playing catch with balls. The vendor was talking and playing with the children. Earlier in the day the children had active outdoor play at a nearby playground. The home was found to be clean, safeguarded appropriately, and well supplied with toys and equipment for the children. Recordkeeping was in good order and well maintained. The vendor is currently certified in First Aid/CPR, and the annual child development training requirements were met. No violations found today.
