This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An unannounced renewal inspection was initiated on 1/15/2021, and concluded on 1/25/2021, approximately from 1:16 pm to 3:00 pm. There were 42 children supervised by 10 direct care staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 5 children?s record, evacuation drills, emergency supplies were inspected.
Observation of the child day center was conducted. The child care area were found well maintained, provided equipment, toys, art supplies of all three and books, all within reach of the children in care. This allowed the children to freely access the supplies with independence. The children were observed in individual and group activity and resting.
No medications on site at this time. No violation were observed during the inspection.
