The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A Renewal inspection was conducted virtually via FaceTime with staff at the center. There were no children in attendance today and 1 staff on site. No medications on site today. 1 child record was reviewed, verification of staff's CPR/First Aid, MAT and Daily Health Observation training was made. All required postings and evacuation drill logs ere observed. First Aid kit was inspected and determined to contain all required items along with some beneficial items that are not required by standards. Current Covid protocols for the center were discussed. Staff presented knowledgeable of the need for frequent handwashing and sanitizing. When children are attending, they are spaced apart to ensure social distancing and all staff and children in care wear masks. Thank you for your cooperation with this inspection process.
