Technical Assistance:
1. Discussed COVID-19 health and safety guidance, and the additional measures the center is implementing.

Comments:
This inspection was conducted by staff using an alternative remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. An on-site inspection of the center was not conducted at this time however, a portion of the inspection included a virtual component which allowed the inspector to observe the facility and program.

A scheduled renewal inspection was conducted at 11:00am. The center supervisor was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection, and given a list of items required to complete the inspection. There were 9 children + 10 staff present during the inspection. Ratios and supervision were in the compliance. Children were observed attending virtual school. The daily schedule includes snack breaks, lunch, and non-school activities. The facility appeared to be clean and sufficiently supplied today. Information gathered during the inspection determined there were no non-compliances with applicable standards or laws reviewed. Questions about this inspection may be directed to pamela.sneed@dss.virginia.gov
