This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on February 22, 2021 and concluded on February 25, 2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were 34 children present and 11 staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection. The Inspector reviewed three children?s records and three staff records submitted by the facility to ensure documentation was complete.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.

Standard #: 22VAC40-191-60-C-2 Description: Based on record review, the center did not ensure that of one of three staff records contained documentation of central registry findings within 30 days of employment.
Evidence:
1. The record for staff #3 (date of hire 01/11/21) did not contain a central registry finding as of 03/02/21.
2. Administrator #1 stated that the center had not recieved the central registry back.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
