The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Consultation was given on training opportunities on-line to meet Daily Health Screening.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated on 03/12/2021 and concluded on 03/24/2021. Staff administration was contacted by email to initiate the inspection. There were have been no children in care since March 2020 due to the COVID pandemic. The program will operate a Spring Break camp as well as summer camp in June. Reviewed the new Director's record and one staff, trainings and emergency preparation. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance(s) with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the facility.Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-330-B Description: Based on staff statement, the resilient surfacing under playground equipment does not meet the minimum safety standards.
Evidence:
Program administration stated that the mulch under playground equipment is less than 6 inches as required under fall zones.Plan of Correction: Mulch was delivered and spread on 3/25/2021.
