This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. A complaint investigation was initiated on 12/18/2020 and completed on 02/16/201 regarding the following sections of Standards for Child Day Centers:
22 VAC 40-185-350 - Staff to Child Ratio Requirements
22 VAC 40-185-240 Staff Training and Development
22 VAC 40-185-170 Physical and mental health of staff and volunteers
22 VAC 40-185-490 Preventing the spread of disease
The licensing inspector for Early Resultz Daycare and Learning Center conducted an unannounced complaint inspection in response to a complaint that was received in the licensing office on 12/18/2020. The administrator was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. The inspector requested items required to complete the inspection. Staff records, children's records, outside medical reports and attendance records were reviewed. Staff was interviewed. There was not sufficient information gathered during the investigation to support the allegations, so the complaint is determined to be not valid. No violations resulted from the investigation.
