Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-380-A-2
Complaint related: No
Description: Based on interviews, it was determined that during nap on 3/29/2021, after the first 30 minutes one child not sleeping was not given quiet activities in which to engage.
Evidence:
Through the course of several interviews during this complaint investigation, it was determined that on 3/29/2021 child A in the Preschool classroom was not asleep after the first 30 minutes of the scheduled nap period. Staff person C was the only staff person in the classroom at the time. This staff person did not give the child quiet activities in which to engage after the 30 minute period.

Plan of Correction: The Preschool classroom always has/had books, coloring pages (quiet activities) available on their tables for the children not napping/sleeping. Child A was not interested in any of them. We will continue offering quiet activities. [sic]
