This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An unannounced monitoring inspection on 4/21/2021, approximately from 9:47 am to 10:50 am. There were 73 children directly supervised by 15 staff. The inspector emailed the provider a list of items required to complete the inspection.
The physical plant, 4 staff records, 7 children?s records, children activities, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected. During the inspection, children were resting, circle time, individual art activity and outdoor play. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature.
No violations were observed during the inspection.
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance Child Care Programs.
