Standard #: 63.2(17)-1721.1-B-4 Description: Based on review of two staff records, the center did not obtain the results of a search of the central registry for another state in which an employee lived in the previous five years within 30 days of employment or follow up on the results of the request within 45 days. Evidence: Staff A, with a start date of 8/10/20, disclosed on their sworn statement that they had lived in the state of Florida within the past 5 years. The record for Staff A does not contain the results of a central registry search from Florida. Plan of Correction: We did obtain a Sex Offender search from Florida and did not realize there was another background check we needed. We printed the form and will have the employee complete it today.
