Technical assistance was provided regarding supervision of children during naptime and calling for assistance when needed.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A complaint inspection was initiated on 3/31/2021 and concluded on 4/27/2021. A complaint incident was received by the department regarding allegations in the area of Supervision. The director was contacted by telephone to conduct the investigation. The inspector emailed the director a list of documentation required to complete the investigation. Based on a review of video footage, review of records, review of policies and procedures, and interviews, the evidence gathered during the investigation did not support the allegation of non-compliance with standards or law. Any violations identified during the course of the investigation can be found on the violation notice.

Evidence:
1.The injury record dated 03/26/2021 for Child #1 contained one staff signature. The injury record did not contain a parent signature or a second staff signature as required.Plan of Correction: The center obtained the parent's signature on the injury record for Child #1.
