Technical Assistance:
Provider has completed required update training course, updated emergency preparedness plan and supplies and we also discussed usage of attendance form in a more beneficial manner.

Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted today from 11: 15am-12:45 pm. There were 2 children in care ( 4 points) at the time of the inspection. Vendor/ household records, child information, emergency planning and supplies were reviewed. The home was found to be clean and well stocked with age appropriate activities for children in care. The children were playing at the playground, playing instruments, completing alphabet puzzles, playing kitty and eating lunch. Potty and hand washing routines were also observed. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-380-H
Description: Based upon observation, medication, was not kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Evidence: household medication was located on counter in bewteen kitchen and dining area used by children in care. Medication was not kept in a locked place as required.

Plan of Correction: Bottle was moved during inspection.
